the beginning of the end. keylon better implement the driver program he's offering the dockworkers, so they can bail him out. hopefully they drive better than they can load trucks. :TR10driving03:
I've been at some places that went under- at the end it sucked, a lot of guys lost weeks of wages.Several got left out on the road ......
I am not sure where we are at, and do not wish to be hasty to judge......but the next quarterly report will tell a lot......

We were not going to "lose" anything, just delay, and my State people are still checking into the legality of waiting that long to issue paychecks.

What is so illegal about it? Companies can establish any pay period they wish. I've been paid weekly,bi-weekly,on the 1st and 15th, and many,MANY years ago, when I managed retail, once a month. You just have to get employees who are willing to wait that long. Besides, I think had enough meant in case CK can't pull this thing off and they go belly-up you will lose everything they owe you.

exactly. if it does'nt look good in these quarterly statements i might consider taking my vacation early in 2013, so i don't lose it. lol.

two city drivers quit last week. one of them went to our competitor next town over. one gave no notice, and the other i think something like 4 days.

Depends on your State. Some do not have to, while my State you will get twice pay and then the company will get fined the same amount. Definitively something not to screw with here

heard from a linehaul driver that the terminal manager and inbound router quit the same week from SPC. that the place is borderline crippled. good luck to you guys over there !!

Term. manager in Ft. Wayne got escorted off the property Monday past(8-6) and the night outbound dispatcher was off Fri. & Mon. called in Tuesday and quit. Heard he went over to Big E-can't confirm that though. So now we're orphans up here.
No worries, as soon as C.K. can get ahold of a Fedex term mgr to replace him, he will walk out and report there soon?
Hopefully, it will be our term mgr.

2 in the city in nas, its a daily routine. the thing that I see is, these new people are looking for what ever they can find, and when they get that "whatever" they dont want it no more, so they quit, lol its funny. good times at vitran high!
