In my opinion, her behavior/speech exemplifies the lack of civility, decorum, and class that society in general has endured in recent years. Now I certainly agree that her language wasn't anywhere near the low end of the spectrum by any stretch, but I do think it was inappropriate for the situation she was in. The attitude that anything goes, that anything anyone want to say is acceptable, etc. is indicative of a decline in good manners and civil behavior. I'm no prude when it comes to using bad language but I do know when to turn that language off. There's a saying I think is very appropriate in this particular situation - "The right to say something doesn't mean that saying it is right".
I can still remember, along with millions of others glued to our TV's, watching him take that first step on to the moon on that hot Sunday night in July of 1969 and tingling with excitement at what we had just witnessed.
