So Hoffa has a total compensation of $390,983..... Bradley Jacobs by example had a base salary of $495,000 in 2015 and despite taking from his own employees it went up to $607,000 in 2016 and then on to $625,000 for 2017... His TOTAL compensation went from $5,771,722 in 2015 to a whopping
$21,984,448 in 2016.... So what about the $5,000 raise Hoffa got?
Hoffa does not own the company. I guess you forgot that part.

Throw all the number out you want. The point is Hoffa is the one standing at the podium bashing all these CEOs for giving themselves raises and other perks.
It not about the amount it just shows Hoffa double standard

His compensation increased about 1.5 % well below inflation. What he and others rail about is the inordinate amount of compensation that Ceo's like Jacobs as compared to their workers. We wont even get into the percentage in total compensation gain that Jacobs milked fro Xpo in comparison.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this. The drivers voted it in the only difference is the company didn’t fight it to any large extent. To say the company wanted it is a little bit of a overreach.
Wrong, UPS (parcel) paid billions to the corrupt union goons to withdraw from the CSP. Hoffa made UPSF joining the teamsters one of the requirements. That made him look like he was keeping his promise of getting Overnite into his union...
Just another example of the corruption and willingness to screw his own members to line his pockets..
Thank heavens Hoffa has people who will always side with him while he destroys their retirement.

Whew, you need some history lessons Puff. At least have the common courtesy to know what the hell you are talking about please. The $6.1 billion that UPS paid didn’t go to the Teamsters but rather the CSPF itself. UPSF joining the Teamsters wasn’t a requirement at all, but for those seeking representation at what was formerly Overnite had neutrality to form their unions with no forced anti-union meetings and the games that current non-union companies play. When given the opportunity to vote a union in under these circumstances the workers chose almost overwhelmingly to do so. Now as far as the CSPF goes it was more the fault of Goldman Sachs and Northern Trust who were given control of the fund by the Unites States government lost 40% of the total value of the fund in a 15-month period during 2008 to 2009. So the Teamsters had NO CONTROL over the fund when the great downfall happened. Go figure. Corporations and their rich executives are always orgasmically happy to have people like you spreading lies and bullshit to suit an anti-union agenda. They are also happy that people side with them while they continue to fleece their own employees of good retirement and medical insurance while they get filthy rich at the expense of the very people that make it all possible.

Happening Now: XPO employees in Miami just walked out to begin an Unfair Labor Practice strike. The workers, who are represented by Teamsters Local 769, are fed up with the company's repeated labor law violations at the freight terminal. They voted to become Teamsters in 2014 but the company's illegal tactics - including denying pay raises XPO has been ordered by a judge to pay - have violated the workers' rights. Today, XPO Teamsters in Miami are standing up and walking the picket line to tell the company that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
