well tell you to do any maintenance work on you truck is not violating the law and if they want they can have a different pay scale when you do that work

Bingo! Overnight had that system. Everytime you did a different job (jockey, P&D, fueling, dock, training, on property etc) you would swipe the electronic time clock and enter the proper code to make sure you got paid less per hour for each job activity…!!
