That is just one small part of the incentives and extra pay you would receive. How about delay time for unexpected road conditions ? Time lost at a terminal waiting for a load to close ?
How much are you willing to give up in order to remain defiant against union representation ?
Corporate America will gladly take whatever you don't stand up for and demand.
Stand up with all the other professional drivers .... stand up and be counted.
I don't find that hard to believe. I got my letter regarding sick pay and Aetna. LETS JUST WAIT FOR UPS TO DO THE RIGHT THING???????????????????Skeeter said:JB, I kind of find that a little hard to believe. We have always given up the first 2 days. I was out several months after surgery. It's been quite a few years ago but they paid the monthly deductions and took them out of my check weekly when I got back to work.
I might add not all at once so it didn't hurt my pay check to bad.
I think UPS likes the way Overnite operates. You can tell by the way they left everything pretty much the same. We just changed colors.
JB, the way I understood it, is that when you are out on sick leave you will be billed for your medical deductions from your medical provider is this correct?Johnnybegood said:You have to be out 4 days to get paid then you have to pay Aetna for your weekly deductions back or lose your benefits. After 5 days you get 100% of your pay for 4 weeks with a doctors note .Then after that you get paid 60% for the next four weeks...It's almost like short term disibility.....Then you need a return to work note from Rachael......This info was posted in HRS.

I am woundering if we will still get our $50.00 per day at the end of the year, for not taking them?
I also know that its better than nothing receiving this $50.00 per day.
But most in my terminal used to be sick long enough with whatever,
so they always got a days pay for their time off.

Man, you're all over the place.....yesterday you posted that you were ashamed of the way UPSF was operating......now you say you think that UPS is happy with the way UPSF is operating? So you're saying that you can see the truth and it shames you but UPS can't? They haven't had time to change things yet, but they will. It'll be a long process changing UPSF, slow and methodical, but they will change it.

For serious illness or injury you need a doctors note. then if you are going to be out for an extended period of time , then you must not only call etna everyday you are going to be out (somehow) illness or disability, but they are the only people who can release you, even if you have a release form from your doctor, So if Etna finds they do not feel you can report back to work regardless as to what your doctor say's, they do not have to let you back to work. Then yes your taxes and deductions must be taken out by you. We did see the memo that was'nt on company letterhead to boot, and there was no meeting about this change. This sheet was just thrown on the breakroom table. Sucks!!!!! After calling HR we find it to be true , Give it a call, you shall see. How much more can we get frazzled with!!!!!
My new jobclass is "Freight Redundancy Specialist".
