FedEx Freight | Raise

If your feeling short changed look at most of the drivers wanted adds, 1099 no benefits 19 buck hr ,42 cent mile 15 buck detention after 2 hours (probably would never pay) more than likely no toll pass use your own money , cologne doused foreign speaking boss

Wow we found a new diversity member. If the former employees of AF, Watkins and Viking freight would have been settlers we would be at that pay scale. Just look at express and ground. Don’t be a settler we need everyone’s help to ensure we are at the top of the pay scale. And in return we need to give 100% to ensure freight stands above the competition.

As far as can see the drivers are doing their part.

There's a reason for that. Totally different qualifications, expectations, and responsibilities.

On hourly scale:
2016 - .90 cent raise
2017 - .75 cent raise
2018 - $1.00 raise
2019 - $1.10 raise (6 months early too)
2020 - $.75 raise

That is outstanding!!

This is also why we have different pay grades depending on location. Hopefully fedex adjusts because i dont see $19 ads for class A drivers with endorsements.

Another millennial?

Great logic by the way!
You have brought nothing to the table, a koolaid drinking fool. As an employee you can stand up for yourself, you dont have to set there and take whatever is given with a smile and "yes master." Stand up for yourself cause if you don't and let them have an inch next year they will take a mile. We work for one of largest and most profitable companies in the industry and should be compensated as such. While most the competition were boosting up there compensation packages we are getting ours stripped. We are not drivers to be tolerated. We are the backbone of the company and without us FedEx would have no business.

If the competition excites you - why are you not heading their way?

There is the UAW, USW, and others. I seem to recall Google employees partnering with United Steel Workers...

Yep, here ya go: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/...ors-are-unionizing-with-a-steel-workers-union

Just saying, there might be better choices, if that was ever deemed the chosen route.
Seeing as how UPSF, YRC, ABF, etc all coward down to their respective companies during negotiations and accepted subpar contracts, perhaps our company saw the opportunity to do the same!!??!! :idunno:
