It will not be from being a profitable company, they have survived so far on someone else's dime. Don't get me wrong, I hope that they do survive because I don't want to see anyone loose their jobs. But the fact remains that they have lived off of borrowed money for a long time.

It was great timing for YRC , Covid 19 could not happened at a better time for them. With the Election coming up, it's all about optics. It wouldn't look good for 30 + thousand people loosing their jobs . That would make the national news circuit.

I was a Democrat too for a long time , but that party left my way of thinking. I am for the common working class 100 percent .It seems like the GOP is trying to help those who will help themselves while the Democratic party is pushing extreme ideas and socialism. Everyone can't sit on their butts and draw a check from the Government. Somebody has to pay for all of it. I do believe that Social Security should be Protected at all cost though, most of us have a lot already invested in that program to change course now.

I’m a registered Independent (since first registering in 1978), and I do agree that the Dems have gotten off track just a bit. Certainly not the Democratic Party of my folks’ generation.

Ruth's Chris Steak House will return the $20 million coronavirus small-business loan it procured from the government's. That's the first line in the article I posted so it was a loan just like YRC got. Why isn't YRC being shamed into returning the loan or does everyone know they wouldn't have survived without it:popcorn:
