You should see my place, fired a guy for grieving over the death of his father went home because he didn't sleep the night before tm fires him then says he didn't fire him. The man returns to work about a month later only to resign last Friday he was the number 2 man with 17 years. Ironically the day before he fired him we watched a video about mental ilness or going through tough times to let someone know about it.... well he did and was fired for it....It was my observation that management might not like you when you stood up to them but they would respect you & not be as likely run over you again. I remember a supervisor that would say somebody was not a team player when they had to file a greievance to stop him from blatantly violating the contract. He compared himself to a coach & all players must follow his orders or risk being called out for not wanting what was best for the team.
