Yellow | Teamsters Back Proposal to Acquire Yellow Properties for a New LTL Company

A friend was a consultant after retirement. His definition was borrowing your watch to tell you what time it is. And charging 1000 bucks for it.
If you knew how to tell time, you wouldn't have to pay a consultant to read it to you. ;)

We all can't be experts in everything. Oftentimes there are tasks needed that demand a level of narrowly-focused expertise but doesn't warrant a FTE. Same reason you might pay a lawyer or doctor $500/hr+ but don't have an in-house one on retainer.

I've worked a few times in my alter-ego career as a contractor/consultant. Temporary work at outstanding pay rates.
