Well great news out the Clarence Motor International Speedway BRG or "B to the RG" as his younger fans call him has clinched the pole(see picture below) in the Bottle Rocket 500 4th of July race at a pavement blistering speed of 49.2 mph, and on a side note, what may look like side view mirrors are actually loud speakers, and for a change he'll be able to use them to taunt other drivers as he laps them, Go BRG!!!

7:00 - 10:00
Pancake, sausage, and beets breakfast, to be held at Clarence Moose Lodge.
Grand Master Cooks,Big Dave and Kboom at the grill.
8:00 Team Wong - BRG arrive driving truck #46, pulling the Mirror Memorial trailer. Guided tours all day, hosted by Donna.
9:00-12:00 Beet Launch open. Children can take aim at the passing trains on the UP tracks. First one to put one inside the lead engine wins.
Carnival opens. 10:00- 11:00pm.
All you little bastards under 40” tall need to be accompanied by an adult.
10:00-2:00 Wong-BRG face painting
11:00 AM-12:00 midnight Moldo Chisnau Beer tent opens in town, next to Elmer’s Feed Mill. Music by the local favorite band, Ted, Cougar Mellonhead.
12:00-4:00 Coop dunk tank filled with beet juice and vodka opens. Guest tank targets, 84 upsidedownways, Seabreeze, Noop Patel, jimmy G, the kook, Triplex, and Elwood.
2:00!!! The Clarence 500 foot race.
Starting line on US 30 on the East side of town, and ending 1 and a half blocks at Nub’s Bar and Grill. Runners cannot wear shoes. Only 2 x 4’s longer than 4” are allowed.
2:00-5:00 Moldo Women’s Club, beet chugging contest.
3:00 Saturday-9:00 PM Monday, The event everyone waits for.
From the Coop Motor Speedway! NASCAR sanctioned, 4,600 mile semi tractor race.
4:00-7:00 Ridge Sox vs. Team Coop in a baseball game at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville. Team Coop will be lead by Big Dave on the mound, and Steward of the Rock catching.
4:00-8:00 SMOKESTACK HOT DOG eating contest. Entrants must be able to eat at least 25 dogs in 15 minutes, without puking, to make the Sunday finals. Featuring expert Wisconsin dog champ cook, SMOKESTACK.
6:00-9:00 Moldo Fart Contest.
9:30-11:00 Fireworks!
In case of rain, the show will be held below Dave’s hat, which will be held up with 4 helicopters, donated by Dusty’s Crop Dusting Service.

Well on the last leg of my trip to Clarence I saw this unit apparently heading to the Clarence Motorpark International Raceway ahead of tomorrows high horsepower extravaganza, quite honestly I had no idea BD was going to toe to toe with Sunoco, that bastard is slick....maybe even oily.
