It's not rocket science.... Plane as the nose on your face.He did what he was hired to do. And now that job is done. There ain't nothing left to squeeze from this.

Not sure it will be a sale as much a hand off in control. He will relinquish control when he feels the stock has reached its pinacale . The truth is no one that wants an Ltl of this size to absorb into there plan. Especially one that's been picked clean . It's not as cut and dry as a sale. The free market at it's best. You mean after we get sold again ?

Their is know one that currently that has the knowledge to turn this around. Sorry but that's the cold hard truth . Everyone sat around and gave this guy every excuse in the book to put us in this predicament. Making up excuses and buying time for him to due further damage is what you get for your complacency . Your low on the list of their concerns.
XPO LTL being sold can would be the next door opening for us. Clean record, positive work ethic, work will find you.Maybe this is one way to be rid of the deadbeat ,slug drivers in our midstEveryone always said that Con-way was to big to fail. That's what they said about the other 1000 LTLs that have pulled their gates too.
Everyone always said, it makes to much money. But what now ? When they have taken every last dime out of it that they could ?
AS long as we're making money we will have a job but things are deteriorating at a rapid pace. I heard are on time delivery went from 97 percent to 85 not good.Unfortunately, in this day of big money transactions, this company and the employees working here are nothing more than the pawns on the big chess board of corporate strategy to make larger profits to appease the large investors of the company stock. All we can do is, hope that the one controlling our pawn, is smarter and better at this game of corporate chess and we all win in the end...
FOS's can and do go and change exceptions to favor the local management.I have heard the claimed number of 97% but I think it far lower than that from what I see there is a lot of number games being played at the terminal level that seems to be acceptable. Non attempts in attempted delivery status and so on.
Not with the driver shortage, I can only see the class of drivers getting worse....XPO LTL being sold can would be the next door opening for us. Clean record, positive work ethic, work will find you.Maybe this is one way to be rid of the deadbeat ,slug drivers in our midst
The numbers are pushed by the top brass, the reality is even when fully staffed and with the equipment maintain and working the system barley works to deliver the numbers they want.FOS's can and do go and change exceptions to favor the local management.
Instead of being the fault of the dispatcher/inbound setup person , it gets changed to the consignee's fault.
Carrot and the donkey. The numbers are pushed by the top brass, the reality is even when fully staffed and with the equipment maintain and working the system barley works to deliver the numbers they want.

This is not accurate.FOS's can and do go and change exceptions to favor the local management.
Instead of being the fault of the dispatcher/inbound setup person , it gets changed to the consignee's fault.
