That 401k is being taken out for you though, not for the benefit of the company and they match 4% of what you contribute. Can't argue on the insurance though. For a single person like myself insurance cost nearly nothing but I know family plans get much more costly.You aren't following what I'm saying. When you factor in OT and the free medical holland drivers take home more than sefl drivers. The hourly rate may be higher where I am, but my insurance takes over 100 per week plus a 401k contribution of 100 plus no OT ever and you arrive at a lower take home amount than a lower hourly rate holland driver
