FedEx Freight | Fed ex insurance and joke of a raise

Well, not so much as CT would have you think. I know a couple Center Managers who say they check it out from time to time. Our higher ups???? Not a chance. They are to busy running a Company. How have these changes come about? Simple. The Surveys we all fill out. Meetings with our Managers and MD's. The online Suggestion forums. These are the things they look at.........and listen to. Anyone who thinks Fred sits at home with his laptop looking at TB needs to check in to Betty Ford. And if he did, after an hour of reading some of the gibberish on here he would probably sell Freight to McDonalds. I've said it before on here. Freight is a new animal to FedEx. We operate differently than his other Opcos. They have made mistakes in the past and probably will in the future. But, they are making an honest attempt at fixing them. I'm proud to put on this uniform. I'm grateful to have this job.
This is one great post. You should be proud to wear your uniform. You work for a great company. I'm very proud to wear my SAIA uniform and if there ever comes a day when I'm not I will know it's time to leave. I refuse to come on here or anywhere else and bash my company. As long as they are helping me pay what few bills I have they have my loyalty. Loyalty is something that doesn't come easy these days. It's not very wise to bite the hand that feeds you. In my experience it never turns out very well.

Loyalty and respect is a two way street..when you help build something from the ground up there is respect and loyalty but when it's bought your just a number.

I don't know what hospital that is, don't want to know. It's just that my wife has crohns and has been in the hospital 14 times in last 3 yrs and not once did we ever put money out. Every time we have been billed. She has been to specialist no money out or very little. What is billed is set up as payments over time

14 times and you payed little to nothing? You must be on the purple platinum plan. I had a colonoscopy a couple years ago it cost right at a grand out of pocket.

Thank you for taking your head out of the clouds to post more gibberish.

There is a difference in constructive criticism and bashing. Don't mistake loyalty for stupidity. We all want the company to be successful if not we would all be out of a job. Nobody is biting the hand that feeds us just because we are employed here doesn't mean the company owns us. We are just pointing out what we have said all along if we are the best treat us like we are.

You are a prima donna as far as I'm concerned. That's my opinion of you. Right or wrong. I'm sure you could care less but that's what I think you are. Do you find it difficult to work under direction or as part of a team? FedEx is looking for team players, not prima donnas.

If I knew what a prima donna was I might take offense to it lmao. You don't work here and have no clue what goes on here. Do you find it difficult living in a world where you don't have the testicular fortitude to stand up for yourself?

But I have many friends that do work their and they keep me in the loop. Guys with 20+ years ... Guys that are grateful for what they get. Guys that even though their region may pay a little less are still grateful. Guys that have paid their dues. You are a big cry baby. Nothing more. You don't deserve to work at FedEx. Prima donnas expect special treatment. And that's exactly what you are . A prima Donna.

Yes the hospitals will usually set up a payment plan and you was in there care already. My wife was set up a head off time as out patient. So everybody sees copay haven't been met and money they want up front. This procedure was to remove pulops to determine if cancer or not. Thank god they weren't but the 15 minute procedure was 16000 before athem negotiated it to 4000, her gyno wanted 900 up front that I had to go back and forth with that she would get paid through the HSA account. She ended up getting 400. If I had paid her what she wanted then I would need to get 500 back. All I will say good luck chasing your money down

Your argument is tired and lame just like you. Special treatment give me a break so wanting things to be fair is special treatment?

Hey Train, I agree in not publicly "bashing" one's company, but it don't think that is what is going on here. Constructive criticism? Perhaps.

Loyalty for helping pay what few bills you have? I think it takes a bit more to "earn" loyalty. Loyalty is certainly a two way street, as is the concept of biting the hand that feeds... Truth is, the workers feed the company in many ways, and should expect a certain degree of loyalty as well. Who exactly feeds who? Both contribute (or should) to the other's well being, thus forming a successful team.

Ballance in effort, as well as reward, insures loyalty (and enthusiasm) of the team members. Add respect and you have long term dedication and sucess of the whole team.

Just enough is not really good enough for either side, long term.

Yours is just as tired and just as lame. You need to be drug tested. You are being treated fair. Your just not smart enough to realize it. Things could always be worse. That's what you are losing sight of. Many would be grateful to have your job. Like I said before. You don't deserve to work at FedEx.

You are correct. But things take time. I like and respect you. I do not like the "crazy" one. He's deserves to be fired. You deserve a promotion. Your level headed approach makes you an asset to this company. I won't argue your point. Give it time brother Swamp. It's really just a matter of time.

Yep many would love to have it, but many don't have the experince i do and they can't peddle freight like i do. They are not keeping me for my good looks. You ever heard the phrase you got to stand for something or your fall for anything. Im smart enough to realize when our gpd is a joke, and that you don't know what your talking about.

Lol did i hurt your feelings? Some can't handle the truth.

NOBODY is indispensable ... Your cocky little arrogant attitude will get you someday. You can easily be replaced and this company won't miss a beat. To be so smart it's hard to believe you haven't learned that.
