I know a former police officer that clocked a loaded school bus running 65 MPH in a 30 MPH zone. The belligerent driver all but warned the officer not to write a ticket & if he caused him to lose is license he would be very angry. That seems to be the trend to blame somebody else for mistakes.
 
A police officer friend was driving through a WalMart parking lot about two years ago in his personal vehicle when he saw a Walmart security officer who was an off duty officer also chasing a thief through the parking lot. My friend who has dark skin stopped & told the thief to get in which he did thinking the officer was helping a brother get away. When the thief got in the car my friend did not move the car which allowed the security office to catch up. The thief started fighting with my friend when he realized what was happening. My friend was awarded the officer of the year plaque for this & other common sense actions. The police force has about 30 full time officers.
