I noticed when Rich got the TM spot in Chicago that our company's stock has been rising ever since. I'm sure YRC's stock will be worth $10.00 a share when were all back working out of Chicago Ridge. Unselfish and open minded people are the tools for sucess in any business. Good to see that Rich is eliminating the OT,and bringing people back to work from layoff. YRC should make the deal with Conway for the 16 million, and offer a sweet package deal of giving the office people that comes with 309 to Conway, as well. I don't see why not, 23 (301) dispatchers who were let go without any benefits offered, have an arbitration with YRC in October for eight figures. Theres an opportunity to bring those people back and get the freight moving the right way, instead of doing things the Roadway,I mean the wrong way, whatever. May even get more people off of layoff if some of the YRC drivers decide to stay in Chicago Heights and work for Conway. They can save $50.00 a month, have the same work rules in place, and can take pride once again in wearing those traditional blue uniforms. :hyper: :biglaugh:
Maybe Rich ought to be the CEO if he has that much magical forces around him.
check out the south dock breakroom were it shows more 705 drivers being called backed. Management is there for the company and not for the betterment of us Teamsters! Pity the fools who post on here and think otherwise.

Chicago Heights close to I 80, Chicago Ridge on top of toll road and close to a very profitable Boilingbrook terminal. Zollars and Smid both dislike 705 and 710, CARE TO DISPUTE THAT!!!
Then tell me why YRC manitance are working on the 301 facility daily, today there were 5 trucks there and activity on the main dock! Word is out that they are not to spend any more money for repairs at 309. The latest I heard was an Oct 1 return to the Ridge, If Conway bought the 309 dock--sounds like we're on a timetable for a return. This is good  news for the company and for all of us who stuck it out!!!
Can't say if Rich G. would be gods answer to to be the coe but if he can turn things around in Chicago and area that will be a major plus for the whole system . Chicago was probably the most important terminal in all of the Yellow Freight system when we were still Yellow . That terminal CGB 300 over 25 years ago was doing a quarter million a day . Thats some serious money . I do believe that Chicago and area Montgomery . Bolingbrook , Wheeling and the Heights can either make or break YRC. Rich is going to have to start cleaning house if he want to start improving operations around there [309] If anyone has an idea approach him he's not hard to talk to. The days of Apple Sauce boy are gone .
The good Rich. It sounds like he knows his stuff and has a lot of respect from his employees.

The activity at 301 is rumored to be for the return of that facility as a satelite of 318. JC 25 has agreed to let 179 have juristiction meaning COMBO!!!!! NO 705 NO 710!

To all Chicago personal, From the desk of Rich G. bulletin board. If you work here you will see it. Were do we rank compared to the rest of the company. 705 drivers and 710 dock are the highest paid teamsters working for YRC. Do you really believe we will go back to the Ridge and take back our work from Boilingbrook? You say both the Heights and the Ridge are for sale? I am more concerned about all of us Chicago Teamsters, where will we be in the future?
Why are you worried about that for? I would like to see the office people's salary being posted. Most of the coordinators and relay managers make close a $100,000 a year, working 4 days in a row one week on a 12 hour shift, and the following week is three days in a row on a 12 hour shift. They have all kinds of time off, don't you think? I would say their making a pretty good buck without having a college degree, and more time to enjoy life while they try to ruin everyone else's with the YRC drama bull ::shit::. Heck, BZ made over $900,000 just last year alone. While the rest of us are working 24/7 on any time of the day, barely averaging 40k a year with no time off. So I don't want to hear or read the bull ::shit:: about the salary issue. Unless people start feeling sorry again about making too much money, and want to give another 5% back to YRC. :biglaugh: Sorry driver,I don't play the feel sorry for YRC game. YRC has two options in the upcoming months, pay up or shut up.

Here's what BZ made last year, not bad for just having a four year degree.
