What slimy fails to tell everybody is that with the fund(which is basicly free with the discounts), is that you don't have a co-pay. You don't pay anything on a doctor visit. And BTW, those numbers you posted, were again different.. It's so hard to trust you anymore. It goes from 80 to 95 to 100, now it's 120. Also if your spouse doesnt have coverage available, then you don't have to pay the spouse surcharge. Slimy is paying about 25/wk. for his insurance, but wouldn't dare say anything good about the company he works for but hates.. haha so afraid to quit. FDX is hiring..

Me, wife and 2 kids is 101.50 a week with the $5 discount for not smoking. I don't know where your getting the $120 from. Get documents to back up your numbers or people will never believe what you say. You also need to make sure the amount of dependants are the same. Can't compare a single guy at Fex Ex to a family of 4 at Con-way.
 
oh yeah, and a 15% paycut. and no job security because of the weak economy. Our insurance pays all that stuff too. nice try though..

Specialist..$25.00 copay, Emergency room visit..$50.00 if admitted $50.00 waived, Dental..$1,000.00 per. calendar year plus two free cleanings a year for each member of the family. Vision plan.. Glasses every two yrs. just got new glasses..exam, scratch coat, uv coating, tansition lenses..$65.00 out of pocket. Contribution by employee..$000.00. Insurance paid by employer. Get on the Horses and Ride my friends! Have a great wekend!!

We have the same insurance as you do. If you want exact numbers I can get them but not untill I can pull my paystub. I don't get any 401k match and neither does anyone up to at least an SCM. I can't speak for the DOOs. And I'd be at 106.50 if I didn't smoke, I didn't do the heath assesment. Now don't get me wrong I miss the 1% I used to pay. I don't know how you got the idea we had some better benefits and a 401k match. We took the EXACT SAME CUTS YOU DID and got the same ones back, no more no less. As far as bonuses go we got 14% with ICP and only get 10% now. We also have a higher threshhold than you do and can actually get no bonus when you do as happened last year. I will not post fake numbers or mold the truth to fit an agenda. I will tell the truth or keep me mouth shut.

It is different when you have 4, as compared to say, 3 or less. The more depenents you have is going to cost more...that is if you decide on the PREMIUM insurance. Slimerock is correct.. and only uses the most extreme case in his posts.. but if you pay this much, it is very good insurance. Most don't need to pay this much. There are better options..

Ok sparky, look, you don't know what those other people's plans offer. Those are only numbers that they tell you. Nobody is going to put themselves in a "bad light" .... don't you think? The UPS plan is going to be better than ours, I can assure you of that...but what do the others offer?? You don't know the answer sparkles....

that's very easy,i NEVER posted different numbers,case closed,you called me a liar and meritless,very easy to prove,all my posts are here,easy to find,always stated i had the "fund"plan because me and 2 dids would have been $85 and couldn't afford it,if wife was added would have been85+19+37=141,ooh same as whiteshirt if he had spousal surcharge,so i guess if our numbers match we're saying the same thing right?so i never lied and my posts are FACT again

it all started when beerman and yourself disputed my numbers and questioned my integrity.i post facts,so far never been proven wrong.fine i'm an unlikeable jackwagon,no problem,but i detest liars and (fact-twisters)!!!!!!!!so anyway here are the FACTS as posted by employees of differing companies..........for a family of 4...............your numbers(with discount and no surcharge)$101.50 at CONWAY.................$0.00 AT YRC..................$26 at UPSFRT........................$52 AT R&L......................2 different numbers at fedx frt $52 and $19.97..........0.00 at ABF. so what is the arguement at BEST cnwy is double the competitors and we keep patting ourselves(uppermanagement)on the back for being #2 ltl carrier,

Well beerfd must have had to **** so merdouche is on the clock you guy's are relentless do you ever take a day or two off what is your motivation or mental defect. Do you ever spend time talking with your family? I totally understand though if you are employed by the forum

SparkleStones, look....you don't know what kind of plan those other carriers have. I've already stated that UPS probably has a better plan.. so, leave them out of it.. what about the other 15 or so (in my area) carriers?? You don't know what they cover and don't cover..I! personally pay 10.50/wk. for coverage. Nothing out of pocket so far this year.. the FUND money will carry over to next year if I don't use it..(yours will too).. It's works for me.. If I decide it will not work, then I will go to work for FDX or somebody else. I'm fine with it...some people are not.. And BTW, that is medical, dental,vision, and mental health(maybe I need some).

LOL, I talk a lot with my family. Not employeed with the forum. I don't know or associate with mercock, but he does seem to have some good facts.

No it does not. Not even close.
 
Dental pay a lot more. We get glasses every year with co-pay on lenses and exam. If you average everything.. it's about the same. And we make more money with no 15% paycut. Stop kissing up to these people.. they don't have it good.
Please don't talk to me about who is kissing up to who.

I pay thousand$ more every year in premiums, prescriptions, vision, and potentially more in major medical costs. And this is better? I must be a complete moron.
