ABF | Roy M. Slagle "Consultant" @$27,000 per month

Looks like he went somewhere else. He will be back when he has a little to much to drink or his medications start to make him do stupid things. But whatever he post will more than likely be of no interest or substance to any of us. YOUR SENDING THE DEADWOOD DOWN THE ROAD BROTHER ALWAYS!

Hes spreading his anti Union campaign on the FedEx board, S. Brunswick is voting today....

I thought S. Brunswick voted the Union in two weeks ago. Halloween eve, in fact. Fairly substantial amount for the Union. FedEx TM refused to shake Union B.A.'s hand when they lost. Maybe some other Jersey terminal voting today?

Looks like it's a vote for no union unfortunately.

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Workers at a Newark, New Jersey, FedEx Freight facility voted against joining a union on Wednesday, in a blow to a concerted drive by the Teamsters to unionize FedEx Corp.

"We are proud of our employees for doing their homework on the union and making an informed decision against third-party interference," FedEx Freight said in a statement after the result was announced.

The Teamsters have scored their first ever ballot victories against FedEx in the past month, targeting its trucking unit at a time when the trucking industry is suffering from a shortage of drivers and wages are on the rise.

Workers at two FedEx Freight facilities voted in October for collective bargaining, while drivers at two other facilities voted against unionization.

The Teamsters have withdrawn a petition for a ballot in Pennsylvania, but have votes scheduled at four other FedEx Freight facilities this month.

Unlike the unionized workforce at its larger rival United Parcel Service Inc, only FedEx's pilots are represented by a union.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

Maybe he's making a comment about the competency of their contractor fleet,......although it's a little stretch to infer competency based on one picture........And,...as drivers, we all shudder and don't wish ill on any other driver in that particular predicament. But,...there has been an ongoing dialogue concerning the professionalism and safety of FedEx's contractors that has been going on,....oh,...say,..as far back as RPS. Accusations of shoddy equipment, hours of service violations, speeding tickets,....no oversight of the supposedly "independent' contractors,...and a complete disavowment, in egregious cases of legal malfeasance,....along with the cancellation of the lease......Every company has a small percentage of these problems,..... but the rumor-mill has it that FedEx's percentage is substantially bigger than most,.....and largely unreported as a problem for FedEx, due to their selective reporting to oversight agencies, based on the convenience of the contractor status.......
