I wouldn't believe anything that is posted on Yahoo finance :popcorn: It's worse than what you hear in the breakroom or even worse than that :poke: what you might hear on XM radio at night.... :hissy:
 
Rumor Is 309 And 301 For Sale ???

The new TM at 309 was rumored to say that 309 and 301 is up for sale. Which ever sells first we will work at the other, Also rumored The Town of Chicago Ridge is to give a BIG tax break to YRC if we come back to "THE RIDGE"....it doesnt matter to me where I work as long as we all are working!!! :thumbsup:

I have heard the rumor comming from a sup. in the shop as far as the town wants us back at 301. :stir:

10% on the dock thats me, Heard alot over the weekend.....seems there may be something to moving us back to the Ridge. The tax thing seems to be the key! I dont know if the Bolingbrook closing is realistic but moving everything to middle of the metro- area makes alot of sense. Right now Bolingbrook P&D Bedford park, Bridgeview etc. all 15 minutes from the Ridge how much does that cost the company?

I'm hearing that that the Akron GO is next on the chopping block. Either a consolidation of the workforce there or completely shutting down. I would assume they would want this done by 1/1/2011.

Have heard the same rumor several times in the past 3 days , a group of investors is having meetings with the union and the company about buying YRC. One of these came from a fairly reliable source. Anyone know anything about this ?

Since NO ONE could come up with any facts surrounding this " sale " I'm moving this into the Rumor thread . I looked at all the SEC filings and news articles for both companies any there no mention of this anywhere , that's not saying it's not going to happen but until then it's a rumor .
