I don't want to know either, what that is your cooking up in that pot your stirring.... I am guessing you cool it off, roll it up, and smoke it???I wouldn't count on UPS having much interest in YRCW. That being said, TransForce might buy you guys out.
They are a Canadian company whose primary interests are in LTL. Since they have bought everything that isn't nailed down here in Canada (including splitting Vitran with Central Transport and buying DHL Canada) they've started buying into the US market. They bought XPO Truckload a few months ago.
TransForce is not afraid of the Teamsters, unlike most big carriers today. In fact, Reimer Express Lines and UPS Canada are two of maybe a handful of Canada's unionized carriers that TFI doesn't own. And they have bought and turned around distressed carriers before (Vitran and Canadian Freightways come to mind).
And TFI is big enough have the money to both buy out YRCW and absorb the debt load. TFI also doesn't interfere a lot in the operation of the carriers they buy unless they either merge them with each other or (rarely) shut them down.
Something to think about...
I wouldn't know what you're referring to! No funny business allowed when you cross the border as often as I do!I don't want to know either, what that is your cooking up in that pot your stirring.... I am guessing you cool it off, roll it up, and smoke it???

Open your mind, think outside the box.
Imagine the possibilities, let your thoughts wander and explore ALL the options.
Wow, that's exactly what my blind date said to me in 1967.
And, you took her advice?
And the Chargers aren't moving from San Diego to Los Angeles!
I believe!
https://www.thestar.com/business/20...orce-expands-to-us-in-558m-deal-with-xpo.html, No they Only want to BUY the "REGIONAL " companies that make money ,they don't want the money losing YRC !! and this could happen by years end !!
Serendipitous encounters have incredible long term effects.
For that, I am incredibly grateful and dare I say, awestruck?
, True and Transforce will be Great NEW OWNER'S !!! as they HAVE MONEY ,unlike our old owner's broke YRCW !!! Jamie told me that Transforce has been trying to hire him for the past 6 month's !!
Shown here, a Transforce ltl driver known as wongway, is shown making an inside delivery of blankets to a nursing home. He commented that he loves loads like this because it takes him all day to unload it, and Keeps him and in top physical shape...
Hey, it could happen! Nobody expected them to buy XPO Truckload (popular bets were on Celadon for that) and they are looking at ways to expand into the US. What better way than getting the best price on the largest, easiest to buy carrier in the country? Debt doesn't scare TFI (they bought Canadian Freightways out of Consolidated Freightways' bankruptcy and assumed all associated debt with it) and neither does the union. They are perhaps the perfect candidate to buy YRC and restructure it the way it needs to be.

"Revive the roadway name"..... oh,oh...Hey, it could happen! Nobody expected them to buy XPO Truckload (popular bets were on Celadon for that) and they are looking at ways to expand into the US. They'd probably revive the Roadway name to rebrand YRC Freight since it has more positive brand association. TFI is big on strong brands, which is why when they merge companies it's always under a single stronger brand. Drivers and customers alike preferred Roadway, and without Yellow being "in charge" anymore there would be nothing to stop it from happening.
The regionals would probably be branded as part of TST Solutions, which would put Holland back under the same umbrella as their former TNT-era interline carrier Overland Express.
Don't be so quick to dismiss the possibility, my friend. TransForce is the biggest carrier in Canada the way FedEx is the biggest carrier in America. They are diverse, and all the reason they need for being interested in YRC is because they want to be a bigger fish in a bigger pond.
Roadway IS coming back.......you'll gonna be hauling "bed bugs" ."Revive the roadway name"..... oh,oh...
