Yellow | Finances At Yrc

we will not profit as long as we cross load and only worry about bills per hour. loads are light, lots of space, or overloaded and fined.
damages are everywhere, poor loading overall, lots of lost freight, terrible work is good as long as it is fast.
 
No more free coffee for dockworkers and drivers at 309. No Holiday Christmas catered meal this year terminal manager and linehaul manager too cheap to buy out of their pocket for his workers little things like this takes it toll on morale. Starting to send drivers on alternate routes instead of toll roads.

You voted for the lack of pension to get $4 over 5 years. You dont speak up to the person who loading the freight like an animal, you dont care when you fork the freight or bring it back day after day because you can't get it off due to early closings and late starts. This whole fing place needs to just go out of business and be done with it.

Why would you have wanted to pour money into a pension that will be broke in a few years? Serious question...am I missing something?
 
for the last 10 years you have let YRC destroy your pension by not contributing the full amount required. Dont let them bs you saying they dont have the money, just look at what they are paying the new and old CFO. And you will continue to let them destroy your pension by putting in that 2 or 3k a year. Take a look at the last pension statements you got compared to what you use to get. Over 15k per person now its peanuts. Thats why your pension is insolvent. Cant have more people taking out and so little going back in. Stock market had a 22% upside in 2019. If you would take your blinders off for a moment, what do you have at YRC ? Protection, health insurance and ot after 8. You have a nearly insolvent pension or insolvent in some cases. Your a mid 50 year old person who has 25 years in and another 10 years to go to get to full pension status 65 years old only get 2500 a month or less. If you max out that 401k your getting eaten alive by the fees in there. If you look at the 2018 statement they sent you its staggering how much they have taken out of that 401k plan in fees. Places outside of YRC are hiring at $4 an hour more to start and offering no touch freight with modern equipment. You on the other hand have the 3 million mile Volvo thats got frame rot and a dash that looks like it was left in Hells Kitchen. Big picture my friend not the micro view of your world. Decay is everywhere in this horrid outfit

Let’s see 5 weeks vacation is equal to 2.50 an hour on a 40 hour week, plus stellar insurance that makes up the other 1.50. And if you drive new truck at 4.00 hour more job do you keep that truck when you retire?
And you obviously don’t understand your 401k statement.
