Any Yellow road tractor with working A/C is "heaven".You went to heaven yesterday?
Road drivers will get free transistor radios to use in the new tractors that came without radios.Yea!! Yellow is going to give SOOO much when there contract is up. I mean, they can’t take anymore. Right??

Fan on the dashboard? Are you kidding? When I ran road for Maislin with we had no A/C, no air ride seats, and hot air from the engine cooked your right foot as that air escaped from the gap where the doghouse didn't quite meet the floor on the Louisville's. Still today my right foot is darker than my left just because of all that heat!Ac what's that? I had two windows and a little fan on the dashboard for 39 years. You new guys got all of the perks.

They also had heaters, after they were downgraded to city tractors.
Glad you clarified about the dark feet, I thought they were from all the BS we waded through in our days.

Can't recall the channel in 55, I do remember it was Morse Code.I thought you experienced drivers used ch 11 and hand signals?
Old time hand signals are dangerous these days. Someone decided they have all new meanings.I thought you experienced drivers used ch 11 and hand signals?
they might want the tractor back before thatIn my case, (the ability) would disqualify me.
I think I might handle a Greensboro turn once every 2 or 3 weeks.
