A tax break is not a subsidy. When a tax break is given to just one business in the area it becomes a subsidy.

No it doesn't. Just means one business gets a tax break while another doesn't. Nothing wrong with that.
Government always picks and chooses tax breaks for everyone, not just business.
When government gives a break to one business but not their competitors then it is a subsidy. I guess all those Obama breaks that the wind and solar industry get arent subsidies either. I think the coal industry would have something to say about that
Great store
Again, Wal-Mart isn't being subsidized anything, I already proved that. The union is responsible for giving out false narratives like that though. So you were a moron long before joining the union?
I am sorry the people at Walmart just plane stupid. I have a friend that work their with my help and 135 we tried for 2 yrs. The most frustrating thing I every been involved in .So I don't ever seeing it happen. Hope I am wrong
Oh stonehead there's no need to call names now,
I would say, "yes"Let me muddy the issue a little more. If a business offers a special discount to union members or to seniors (as some retailers do) is that considered a "subsidy" to them? Just curious.

Only if I am the only one who gets that discount. So you feel that a "discount" off a particular price is considered a subsidy? If you buy a car at a discount from the sticker price you're receiving a subsidy?
