The way that I understand the Restructuring Plan is that it extends all parts of the current NMFA and Supplemental Agreements for a two year period.

Thank you Brother Docker. I was a little confused as I had asked my B.A. the same questions. When he got back to me, he said that he had spoken to Tyson Johnson directly, and that Mr. Johnson had said that "ABF would be the only company at the negotiating table." If Mr. Johnson had told my B.A. that YRC's MOU had provisions to extend all of the contract, my fears would've been alleviated. I guess all that remains now is to see whether the NMFA will be negotiated to end concurrent with the expiration of YRC's MOU in 2015. I guess the older I get, the more suspicious I get. Especially after the beg-back.....

ABF opted out of the NMFA negotiations. Fine, no prob so far. Tyson has ABF sign a 'me too' making ABF bound to the terms of the NMFA \. With me? The fact is YRC was a party to the NMFA, which is a contract between companies. The contract is to have everyone (companies) on the same page with work rules, pay and other things. You can not make deals on the side with one company, and don't include the other member companies. This is a clear breach of the NMFA, it is all explained in the contract. It is very simple to understand, this is all spelled out in the contract. Do you understand if not go read the NMFA. The reason for a contract is to stop all of the arguments by having everything in writing. So what color is a green house? Black I guess to people who see the world with rose colored glasses on.
